The Nonprofit Management Internship offers hands-on experience in the day-to-day operations of a mission-driven organization. This paid internship is intentionally flexible and can be tailored to align with the intern’s skills, interests, academic requirements, and career goals. Interns will work closely with a senior leader and gain practical experience in nonprofit leadership, program development, volunteer engagement, and/or fundraising.

Responsibilities will vary based on the department placement and the intern’s strengths, but may include:
Recruitment & Outreach
- Assist with volunteer recruitment strategies and outreach efforts
- Support onboarding and communication with prospective volunteers
- Help manage recruitment pipelines and tracking systems
- Participate in events, campaigns, or digital outreach initiatives
Volunteer Programs
- Support volunteer coordination, scheduling, and engagement
- Assist with program planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Help develop training materials, guides, or resources for volunteers
- Collect feedback and assist with reporting on program outcomes
Development & Fundraising
- Assist with donor outreach, stewardship, and communications
- Support fundraising campaigns, events, and grant-related research
- Help maintain donor databases and organize development materials
- Contribute to storytelling, impact reports, and promotional content
General Nonprofit Operations
- Attend team meetings and strategy sessions
- Assist with administrative and project-based tasks
- Conduct research to support organizational growth and decision-making
- Contribute ideas and insights to improve systems and processes

- Interest in nonprofit management, social impact, or mission-driven work
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently
- Comfortable working in a flexible, collaborative environment
- Experience or coursework in nonprofit management, communications, business, social sciences, or related fields is a plus, but not required

- Direct mentorship from experienced nonprofit professionals
- Exposure to multiple aspects of nonprofit management
- Real-world project ownership and leadership opportunities
- Development of transferable skills in communication, project management, and strategy
- Internship duties can be structured to meet academic credit or program requirements

- Flexible hours to accommodate class schedules and other commitments
- Internship scope and weekly time commitment customized based on availability and requirements

- This is a paid internship. Compensation is based on the intern's experience, skills, and responsibilities, and will be discussed during the interview process
